Road legal quads need to have a horn, indicators, sidelight (parking lamp) hazard warning lamps and repeater lamps.
These items need to be controled, and below are a range of switches and repeater lamps that can be used to do a road legal conversion on an off-road quad.
There are 2 options when doing the conversions, either replace the original switchgear with a new unit, or add extra switches to your handlebars, leaving the original switchgear in place.
If you are doing your own wiring, then leaving the original switchgear in place is by far the easiest option, but replacing the unit gives a professional finish.
