Exhausts

Road legal quads do not need to have an E-Mark stamped on them nor do they need a manufacturers stamp. They must however produce no more than 99dB when subjected to a noise test either during an MSVA or at roadside.

A catalytic converter is fitted to quads that conform to the Euro 2 regulations for homologation, however, in the UK, quads are presently exempt from emissions during the MOT.
